Assembly Theatre: Site Crew and Carpenter

For three years I have been employed as assistant carpenter site crew working on several assembly theatre sites around Edinburgh city centre for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I worked closely with designer Cassie Sibbins in constructing most of the site dressing and signage, as well as assisting with many other general production tasks.

The Citizens Theatre: Carpenter

As part of my final year at RCS I was lucky enough to conduct a five week secondment at the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow. During my stay there I worked on multiple productions, through which I gained many new skills and friends.
Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games: Carpenter

I was lucky enough to be a part of the memorable Glasgow commonwealth games, and assisted with the construction of the set for the opening ceremony.
PASS Theatre: Lighting designer and Operator

During the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe I worked with the PASS Theatre at Edinburgh Telford College as lighting designer. I worked on two shows, one was produced by ETC and one by Graduating students, both of which received fantastic reviews.

I have recently graduated following my third year of study on the BA Production Arts and Design course at this prestigious school. As a major in Set Construction, I also studied a minor in Set Design, both of which have been a fantastically educational and enjoyable experience!

2011-2012
I completed a HNC in technical theatre at Telford College in 2012, specialising in lighting design. I also gained valuable experience over several shows in a multitude of other disciplines, including stage management, propsmaking and scenic art.
